User Experience (UX)

User Experience is based on a set of impressions and emotions from the actions that resulted from the use of the product. That is, it is the experience of interaction. Ideally, it should be positive. If we’re talking about a website, an important component of its popularity (and therefore success) is the convenience of working with it. Everything matters: well-thought-out navigation, visual hierarchy, information architecture, page opening speed, etc. Rational UX design is aimed at designing products that are intuitive, but at the same time simple and enjoyable to use. The ones that help a representative of the target audience with any level of digital literacy to solve their problem (quickly find information, choose and buy the necessary product or service, etc.) High-quality UX is always based on the interests, preferences, and needs of the user. Investing in UX helps to increase user loyalty, improve satisfaction, and minimize errors.

User Experience directly affects the success of a website. After all, search engines are designed to provide users with the best (clear, accessible, and convenient) answers to their queries. Search engines pay attention to various indicators:

  • website page loading speed;
  • structure and quality of content;
  • optimization for mobile devices;
  • external and internal links of pages;
  • and many other factors.

A search engine may ignore high-quality and interesting content posted on slow, poorly designed resources that sometimes pose a danger to a user’s computer device. That is, a person may not see even a very high-quality and useful article if the website where it is published is inconvenient, complicated, and dangerous.
In addition, the system uses search signals and recognizes how visitors react to the resource to understand the audience’s reaction to the website. Page views, bounces, conversions, etc. are all key metrics.

For example, the time users spend on a page is important; as how often they are ready to use a familiar source again, etc. High rates show that visitors find the resource attractive and useful. In other words, search engines always take into account how the audience interacts with the site. And ranking largely depends on the user experience.

Positive User Experience is one of the basic tasks of SEO and directly affects optimization. So, if a website is a product, then improving UX becomes a mandatory component of an SEO strategy.
